Ugh... probably a gutless 6.2 no-turbo diesel with a 3 speed auto.

Sure it will be durable... but man it will be crap to drive.

And they want that much with it having some rust.

I suppose that makes some sense for a military truck, but Jeeps never stooped that low.

Without knowing the market for well sorted Blazers, that price to me doesn’t seem so bad. Certainly there is the right kind of jarhead out there who will snap this thing up.

I’m not going to look, but if there are 5 and even 6 figure blazers out there of this era it wouldn’t be shocking given the current insanity of the US truck market ($70 k gladiators lol), so a high 4 figure custom blazer doesn’t seem that bad.

Fun fact: my old roommate’s grandfather used to work for GM and helped with the design of the K5 Blazer. At first I didn’t believe it but he sent me pictures of some of the technical drawings.

His dad is also the lead manager of a contacted GM storage facility for their show cars, and since he’s in charge, he gets to see all the latest stuff. They’ve both seen the mid-engine Corvette without camo. Obviously no SR-20 of that because if a picture of it leaked his dad would lose his job.
